The Water's Edge

This otherworldly prairie has yielded a quiet mystery, as the mighty gargoyle dubbed Goliath has found a sickly little creature, distinctly alien yet with rabbit-like qualities, suffering from an unknown malady in this unknown realm. He has taken the unconscious animal to the nearest water source he could find on foot, in the hope that it will be a boon to its health.

Taking a knee, he rests the creature near the water's edge.

Not expecting to see anyone else at the moment. Which, of course, is when others will begin to make their presences known.
